A skateboarder first and producer second, west coast based Drew Dapps took quickly to his second outlet, and within a couple years of dropping his debut EP he was touring across the continent sharing his unique minimal grooves city to city. Born in Las Vegas, Drew was introduced to cooking up hip hop beats while in school, then got involved on a deeper level once he discovered house music after relocating to San Diego. It wasn’t long before he established a presence within the scene and started playing reputable venues, sharing the stage with legends like Chris Stussy and Dimmish. Showcasing his distinct minimalistic flavor in releases, performances, and fashion shows - the sauce has proven to resonate with DJs and fans alike. Growing up on artists like Pharrell Williams and Drake, Dapps has always aspired to take his imprint to the highest level with a complete lifestyle approach. Combining music and fashion in a fresh context with his Dapps Apparel clothing line has set in motion his influence in the culture. Steadily celebrated as a mainstay in minimal through his avant garde merch and larger than life Theme Camp known as "Camp Dappington", he has always sought to push the sound as far as it could go.
