Mario Lui

Mario Lui is a Venezuelan DJ and producer based in San Diego, recognized for his organic, emotional, and deeply groovy sound. Co-founder of AMA Sounds, he has built a musical identity that blends house, deep, soulful, progressive, afro, and minimal, always with a narrative approach where each set works as a journey full of elegance, rhythm, and sensitivity. Born in Caracas and shaped by mentors from the Venezuelan scene along with a strong self-taught foundation, Mario began his path as a DJ in 2015 and became fully professional in 2017. His sound is influenced by the Latin underground and the multicultural energy of Southern California. In production, he works in Ableton Live and has releases on Salon Tropical and Night Hear Records, with new projects currently in development. His journey includes performances in San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Lake Tahoe, Honolulu, Maui, and festivals such as Burning Man and Electric Eden, establishing him as an active presence in the West Coast scene.
